The Alberta Opportunity Book (the “Opportunity Book”) is a pilot project to enable Alberta’s international offices to promote active Alberta high-value, high-impact investment opportunities. With 12 international offices, Alberta has a network of offices in key investment locations which are driving global investments into the Province of Alberta.
Established Alberta businesses looking for capital are welcome to complete a submission form to be added to the Opportunity Book. The eligible sectors are agriculture, aviation & logistics, energy & clean tech, financial services, petrochemicals, technology, and tourism.
T he Opportunity Book is updated on a quarterly basis based on approved submissions.

The Opportunity Book is being created as Invest Alberta Corporation (“IAC”) is frequently asked what investment opportunities exist in Alberta. All project listings must be high impact to the Province of Alberta. Only submissions approved by IAC, at its sole discretion, and meeting deadline requirements will be included in the Opportunity Book.
IAC does not verify, make any representations or warranties about, or accept any liability for the accuracy or completeness of the information content of the Opportunity Book. Investors relying on the information content of the Opportunity Book do so at their own risk and investors agree to any terms and conditions contained therein.
Individuals making submissions to IAC on behalf of Alberta businesses do so voluntarily, and by making a submission to IAC the individual, on their own behalf and on behalf of the business they represent, consents to the collection, use and disclosure by IAC of any and all information, including any personal information, that is contained on the submission form for the purpose of the Opportunity Book in accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (AB) and the Personal Information Protection Act (AB), as applicable. Personal information disclosed by individuals to IAC in connection with the Opportunity Book may be used for the purpose of connecting Alberta businesses with investors.
